Inter’s coach, Simone Inzaghi, will be rewarded with a new contract if his team wins the Scudetto this season in Serie A.
The 47-year-old Italian coach has impressed the Nerazzurri since his arrival in June 2021, leading them to two Coppa Italia trophies, three Italian Super Cups, and to the final of the Champions League.
This season, the club finally seems on the right path to win their 20th historic Scudetto, securing their second star. Inzaghi has managed to transform Inter into one of the most dangerous teams in European football, and his future at the club seems unquestionable, despite having only 18 months left on his current contract.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi’s contract with Inter will be automatically extended by a year if the club wins the Scudetto this season, but he could also be rewarded with a pay raise to reflect his success. The Italian coach has overseen the team in 141 matches so far, securing 93 wins, 24 draws, and 24 losses in all competitions.
