Liverpool confirms the absence of two key players against Chelsea

Liverpool has been hit with two injuries ahead of the final against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.

Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones will not be involved in this match as they were injured in the last Premier League game, where the Reds secured a convincing victory against Brentford.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is facing numerous injuries, as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip, Ben Doak, and Dominik Szoboszlai are also on the injury list.

Goalkeeper Alisson is also doubtful for this match, as he also missed the last challenge.

Jota had been in good form lately, scoring five goals and providing two assists in Liverpool’s last seven matches in all competitions.

Otherwise, the final between Liverpool and Chelsea will be played on Sunday.
