Liverpool is confident that Salah will extend his contract despite interest from Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool’s management is reportedly confident in securing a contract renewal for their star player, Mohamed Salah, despite multiple offers directed at him.

According to talkSPORT, Liverpool remains optimistic about reaching an agreement to extend the contract of the Egyptian star.

The 32-year-old forward’s contract is set to expire this summer, but despite interest from Saudi Arabia and across Europe, he is not currently in talks regarding a potential move. A €175 million offer from Al Ittihad in 2023 was rejected, and speculation has persisted, though Salah has done little to put an end to the rumors.

Salah, who is enjoying a brilliant season with 27 goals and 17 assists, is on track for his best campaign ever.

He is just three assists away from breaking the Premier League record for most goal contributions in a single season and needs five more goals to match his personal record of 32 goals from his debut season at Liverpool. With speculation about a Saudi move fading, it appears Salah wants to stay at Liverpool, with discussions now centered on his future at Anfield.

During his time at the club, Salah has scored 243 goals and provided 110 assists, winning numerous trophies, including the Premier League and the Champions League.
