The UEFA Champions League 2024-25 will continue this Wednesday with the next four matches of the Round of 16. Besides the blockbuster clash between PSG and Liverpool, teams like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Inter will also take the field.
After Tuesday’s first set of Round of 16 matches, Wednesday will bring the next four encounters, concluding the first week. The return legs will be played one week later.
The first match of the day will be between Feyenoord and Inter, kicking off at 18:45 CET. The Dutch side reached this stage after eliminating Milan in the playoffs, while the Nerazzurri finished in the top 8, as reported by Albanian Post.
At 21:00 CET, three more matches will take place: Benfica vs. Barcelona, Bayern vs. Leverkusen, and PSG vs. Liverpool.
Benfica will host Barcelona in Portugal, a rematch of their thrilling group stage encounter, which ended 4-5 in favor of the visitors. The Portuguese side made it to this stage by eliminating Monaco in the playoffs, while the Catalans secured their place after finishing in the top 8.
A fully German showdown will take place at Allianz Arena, where Bayern will face Leverkusen. The two teams are also battling head-to-head for the Bundesliga title this season.
The Bavarians reached this round after eliminating Celtic in the playoffs, while Leverkusen, also known as the “Aspirins,” finished in the top 8.
The biggest match of the day in the Champions League will be held at the Parc des Princes in Paris, where PSG will host Liverpool.
The home side advanced to this stage after easily defeating fellow French side Brest in the playoffs, while the Reds secured their spot in the top 8.
