The 2023/24 Serie A season, right from the start, gave the impression that Inter would be crowned champions.

Anyone who thought so was proven right… This is because the team led by Simone Inzaghi was declared champions of Italy for the 20th time in the club’s history. Inter dominated Serie A, while Juventus triumphed in the Cup.

From the very beginning of the 38-match marathon, Inter was dominant, and they were officially crowned champions with five matches still remaining in the season.

The joy was doubled as this remarkable achievement was secured in a match against their arch-rivals, Milan, with a 2-1 victory.

Under Inzaghi, Inter set several records during this Serie A campaign, according to “Gazeta Express.”

The “Nerazzurri” achieved the longest winning streak of 10 consecutive victories and the longest unbeaten run of 28 matches.

After 38 games, Inter amassed 94 points with 29 wins, seven draws, and only two losses.

Lautaro Martinez was the league’s top scorer with 24 goals and was also named the best player of the championship.

Beyond the league, great importance is placed on the Cup in Italy.

At the “Stadio Olimpico” in the Italian capital on May 15, 2024, Juventus faced Atalanta.

In a fiery encounter with plenty of scoring opportunities from both sides, the “Old Lady” emerged victorious.

Despite numerous chances, the match ended with a 1-0 scoreline.

To reach the grand final, Juventus had to overcome Salernitana, Frosinone, and Lazio in the semifinals.

On the other hand, Atalanta defeated Sassuolo, Milan, and Fiorentina before making their way to the final in Rome.

This was Juventus’ 15th triumph in the Coppa Italia, more than any other club in Italian football.
