Additionally, Barcelona is seeking a signing bonus of €100 million. Thus, the Catalan giant would earn at least €1.3 billion from this contract over the next ten years, and it is speculated that the total bonuses could push the final sum to €1.5 billion.
According to Marca, following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League by PSG, Barcelona no longer has aspirations for this season, so they have slowly turned their focus towards planning for the future.
This sponsorship deal is one of the steps they have decided to take, and Marca also highlights that Barcelona’s executives will try to earn around €150 million from player sales.
