Bayern Munich has advanced to the Champions League semifinals after defeating Arsenal 1-0 in the second leg, with an overall score of 3-2.
The Bavarians started the match better, attacking the Gunners’ goal, but were unlucky.
In the 25th minute, Jamal Musial created the first serious chance, but David Raya was attentive.
Six minutes later, the Gunners also created their first chance through Martin Odegaard, but this too did not surprise Manuel Neuer.
Even Gabriel Martinelli (32′) tried to surprise Bayern’s legend, but again the latter was up to the task.
Arsenal continued to show more from the game, but both teams had an equal performance in these first 45 minutes.
As the second half began, Leon Goretzka had a clear chance, as his shot hit the left post.
But, in the 63rd minute, Joshua Kimmich punished Arsenal, heading the ball into Rayas’ goal.
The away team did not show much in the remaining minutes, while Bayern’s defense proved solid.
In the semifinals, Bayern Munich will face the winner of the match between Manchester City and Real Madrid, which has gone into extra time.
