Barça had finalized an agreement in the summer for the loan of the Portuguese player for the 2023/24 season.
“Los Rojiblancos” confirmed Felix’s contract renewal before his move to “Camp Nou,” valid until the summer of 2029. Diario Sport reported that Barcelona would make an initial offer to keep the 24-year-old on loan for the next season, including a possible buyout clause. However, despite Barcelona’s need for a financial solution, the latest report from “Relevo” states that Atletico Madrid will reject any loan offers.
The club from the Spanish capital might be open to loaning out Felix with a fee of 15 million euros and a mandatory purchase option, but they will not accept any loan extension from Barcelona.
