Real Madrid is said to have rejected Manchester United’s offer to sign Antony.
According to a report from the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, the Spanish club was given the chance to sign the Brazilian in January. United offered the 23-year-old winger for only 30 million euros. However, the Merengues turned down the opportunity to secure his services, leaving the English club with even greater concerns.
Signed for 100 million euros in the summer of 2022, Antony has struggled to make a real impact at Old Trafford. The Brazilian has only scored eight goals in 62 appearances for United so far. He has yet to register a goal contribution in 18 matches this season.
Even though Real Madrid has been hit by injuries this season, Antony doesn’t seem to fit into Carlo Ancelotti’s system.
