Lyon started the second half strongly and created several good chances, but Alexandre Lacazette, Corentin Tolisso, and Georges Mikautadze failed to find the net.
Shortly before the end of regular time, Bruno Fernandes found Joshua Zirkzee, who scored with a header to make it 2-1.
However, the Red Devils couldn’t hold on to the lead, as Ryan Cherki equalized in the fifth minute of added time to make it 2-2.
