Playing for Sporting Lisbon and the Swedish national team, Gyökeres scored a total of 62 goals, with 52 for the Portuguese club and 10 for the national team. Behind him is Erling Haaland, who netted 49 goals for Manchester City and Norway, followed by Harry Kane, who scored 46 times for Bayern Munich and England over the past year.
In fourth and fifth place are players competing in Asia. Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr) scored 43 goals, while Wu Lei (Shanghai Port) found the net 42 times.

Last year, the top scorer was Ronaldo, who scored 54 goals for Al-Nassr and Portugal.
