FC Bayern has signed midfielder João Palhinha from the English Premier League club Fulham.
The Portuguese international, who turned 29 on Tuesday, has signed a four-year contract valid until June 30, 2028.
Palhinha expressed that this is one of the happiest days of his life as he will be playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
“This is one of the happiest days of my life. Now I am playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’s a dream come true for me, and I am very proud of it. I am looking forward to the atmosphere and the fans at Allianz Arena. I want to succeed with FC Bayern and win titles – I will give my all,” he said.
