Harry Kane broke a significant record in the Bundesliga. He set a personal record of 31 goals in a league season as Bayern Munich defeated Darmstadt to close the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen to seven points.
Bayern Munich won 2-5 against Darmstadt, with Harry Kane scoring a goal, reports Gazeta Express.
England captain Kane had previously scored 30 goals in two seasons in the Premier League while at Tottenham Hotspur.
He also set a new record for most goals in a debut Bundesliga season, surpassing the previous record set by Uwe Seeler (30) for Hamburg in 1963-64 – which was also the Bundesliga’s inaugural season.
